A BALTIC APOTHECARIES' DRESSER CABINET
We are delighted to acquire this exceptional apothecaries' dresser or cabinet thought to have been part of the infrastructure of the Danish Royal Palace in the 19th c and in private ownership for many years since then.

The decorated surface is simulated oak with original gilded mounts. We have the original chemist's labels which can be easily attached if required.

The piece dates mid 19th c

A COLLECTION OF MARBLE PESTLES
A collection of 6 marble pestles in varying sizes which have been carefully cleaned and restored back to a fabulous white colour without any damage to the surface of the marble which also has some fine grey streaks appearing naturally.

Sizes range from 13 ins h to 20 ins h and date from the late 19th to early 20th century.

Condition good throughout - one pestle has chip on rim seen in image.

An interesting piece dating from World War II, privately owned and with an intruiging provenance.

The cupboard has been constructed from a pair of a Georgian pine door and decorated c 1942.

The four panels to the front and 2 on each side are individual paintings of nursery rhyme characters by a trained artist and this is part of what we understand to be the provenance of the piece.

A FINE PAIR OF CAROLEAN OAK CHAIRS
This rare pair of Charles II oak chairs are of the very best colour and in suprisingly good order with the fielded panells on the back being carved from single pieces of oak, having gun barrel stretchers to the front.

The clean simple lines of the chairs would work in the contempory as well as traditional interior.
