| Walnut Nursing Chair in the manner of Pugin |
A very fine nursing chair in walnut with the original leather castors, all in very good order. This chair is very much in the manner of Pugin*and bears great similarity to illustrations of the period. Completely re-upholstered in linen. Date c 1825.
*(Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1 March 1812 – 14 September 1852) was an English architect, designer, and theorist of design, now best remembered for his work in the Gothic Revival style, particularly churches and the Palace of Westminster.)
